I’ve spent nearly 30 years specializing in OB and Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) ultrasound, and throughout that time, I’ve had the privilege of helping thousands of families experience the incredible joy of seeing their baby before birth. It’s work I truly love, and that passion is what led me to take ownership of this studio right here in Arlington, Massachusetts.

What is an elective prenatal ultrasound?
An elective ultrasound is a non-medical scan designed to let families see and bond with their baby. It does not replace the diagnostic ultrasounds performed by your doctor.
Does this take the place of an ultrasound at my doctor’s office?
No. You should still have a medical ultrasound with your doctor to check growth, development, and health. Our ultrasounds are for keepsakes and bonding.
Is it safe? Are there any risks to me or my baby?
Yes, ultrasounds have been used safely for decades. There are no known risks for you or your baby.
Do I need an appointment?
Yes, appointments are required to ensure we can give you the time and experience you deserve.
Can I bring my family and friends?
Absolutely! We encourage you to share this special experience with loved ones. Our studios have comfortable seating for guests.
Will I be able to see my baby’s face if I have an anterior placenta?
In most cases, yes. Our skilled sonographers use techniques to get the best images possible, though clarity can vary depending on your baby’s position.
When do you begin doing ultrasounds at your studios?
We begin offering ultrasounds as early as 8 weeks for 2D scans, and SneakPeek gender DNA testing is available starting at 6 weeks.
